The ski area Obertilliach is very manageable and therefore a Secret tip for families! The majority of the more than 15 kilometres of slopes are suitable for beginners. Especially children can learn to ski wonderfully here. In Tilly-Kids the toddlers learn the basics for riding on two boards. Of course, you can also take part in one of the private courses as an adult. But the ski area is not only suitable for beginners. Obertilliach has slopes of all levels of difficulty. So there is something for everyone.

- Average snow depth during the season is 113 cm at summit elevation and 63 cm at base elevation. Snow coverage is usually best during February, offering an average snow depth of 118 cm at summit elevation and 73 cm at the base.
- Obertilliach - Golzentipp features 58 sunny days on average per season. The average for all ski Resorts in Austria is 39 sunny days. February is the sunniest month with an average of 21 sunny days. This makes the ski resort one of the 1 sunniest in Austria.

The panorama restaurant ConnyAlm is located at the top station of the Golzentipp gondola lift at an altitude of 2050 metres. During a stop for a bite to eat, you can make yourself comfortable on the large sun terrace and enjoy the fantastic view of the Carnic Alps, the Lienzer Dolomites and the entire Lesach Valley.

Obertilliach has made a name for itself worldwide with cross country ski and biathlon. The 60 km long Grenzlandloipe between Hollbruck near Kartitsch and Maria Luggau is ideal for classic cross-country skiing or skating. Here, both beginners and professionals will be thrilled by the varied cross-country ski trails and the scenic beauty of the snow-covered winter landscape.
In addition to cross-country skiing in Obertilliach you also have fantastic opportunities to hike through the deep snow with your snowshoes. You can also enjoy the peace and fresh air during a long walk on more than 15 kilometres of ploughed winter hiking trails .
A lot of fun and action is guaranteed by the 7 kilometre long toboggan run. From the "Connyalm" you can take a sledge down to the gondola lift.
