The Ski Resort
In the north of Munich lies the ski area Monte Kienader near Bergkirchen. Especially beginners and less experienced riders feel comfortable on the three rope lifts. Not far from the big city you can learn to ski here in a familiar atmosphere.
During the week, the lifts do not open until 2 p.m., but on weekends, the lifts are already open from 10 a.m. on. On Thursdays an evening run with escape light is also offered. The Schmankerlhüttn invites you to stop for a bite to eat.

The Monte Kienader ski area is located northwest of Munich in Bergkirchen near Dachhau. The S 2 goes directly to the Dachau railway station. From there the bus number 721 takes you in the direction of Odelzhausen to Bergkirchen. Then it is about 15 minutes on foot to the lifts. The whole trip takes about an hour.
