The Ski Resort
Montana Snowbowl is located only 20 minutes from Missoula. It is a great ski area offering over 380 hectares of skiable terrain. Its elevation of 2316 meters above sealevel cater for best snow conditions during the whole season. There are plenty of trails for all levels of ability. No matter if you area a novice skier/ rider or an expert you will definitely enjoy Montana Snowbowl! Whether you prefer gentle crusising or steep challenging terrain, here you will find it all! It is recommended that beginners take some lessons at the Ski School. Certainly, some instruction will help you to have vene more fun in the snow. Experienced staff will help you to achieve your goals. The Ski School offers programs for a variety of different needs: Firts timers are welcome as much as more experienced skiers and riders seeking for some advice. There are also special programs such as the Women´s Program available!

- The vertical drop from summit to base is 2598 ft. The average difference in altitude between base and summit of Ski Resorts in the USA is 1230 ft. Most runs are therefore relatively long. The high point of the ski resort is located at an elevation of 7598 ft.
- Average snow depth during the season is 63 " at summit elevation and 33 " at base elevation. Snow coverage is usually best during February, offering an average snow depth of 70 " at summit elevation and 38 " at the base.
