The Ski Resort
Målselv Fjellandsby is the largest winter sports destination in Northern Norway, located above the Arctic Circle in the province of Troms — at roughly 69° north, where northern lights in winter and the midnight sun in summer are part of everyday life. The resort offers 14 runs across a good 13 kilometres of pistes, spread over terrain between 50 and 550 metres. Three surface lifts and a conveyor belt in the children's area serve slopes for all ability levels — from wide family runs and the Rognmobakken to steeper pitches at the Toppskaret. A snow park is part of the offering. What makes the resort truly unique is the combination of Arctic wilderness and mountain-village atmosphere: holiday cabins and apartments are scattered right among the pistes, so you open the door in the morning and step straight into your bindings.

Activities
Cross-country trails lead through the snowy mountain landscape around the village. Dog sledding, guided snowshoe hikes and northern lights experiences are also on offer — in the Arctic darkness of winter, this is one of the best regions in Norway for it. Nearby, the Polarbad is one of the world's most northerly leisure pools, with swimming pools, slides and a sauna.
Après-Ski and Nightlife
The in-house ski cafeteria and pub form the social hub of the mountain village. The pub regularly hosts concerts, dance evenings and live music events — a lively après-ski scene you might not expect this far north.
