      El dorado for beginners!

Beginners and less experienced riders will find ideal conditions at „Davos“. The resort area „Madrisa“ is particularly recommendable in this context. The majority of terrain is of easy level (marked blue), which makes it really easy for greenhorns. At „Madrisa“ you’ll even find a beginners plate-lift. Beginners should not let the trail map deceive them. The intermediate runs (marked red) at the resort are not too challenging and would be considered easy level terrain elsewhere. Merely, parts of the difficult (black) base area descent is somewhat problematic for less experienced riders and skiers. „Pischa“ too can be considered a beginners resort. The entire resort area is far too small for advanced riders and skiers let alone the predominantly easy trails (marked blue) with only exception of an intermediate trail which however lacks completely in challenge. Thus ideal terrain for those who have just begun skiing. The „Rinerhorn“ is less recommendable for novices as skiable terrain there is rather demanding. All 3 resort areas are accessable via a gondola which takes you to the center of the ski area. From then on however all you get is t-bar-lifts at the Rinerhorn“, „Madrisa“ and „Pischa“ and you'll soon have the knack of t-baring because you simply have no other choice.
