The Ski Resort
Apart from numerous other activities such as snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and horse-drawn sleigh rides, you can also actively experience alpine skiing and snowboarding in the Styrian Krakau Valley. Alp Tockneralm offers family-friendly, manageable descents.
Every skier, but especially families with smaller kids, can experience a relaxed skiing holiday in the Styrian Krakau. Snow is guaranteed on warmer days thanks to a snow-making system. A special highlight are the FIS Skiing Days with two exciting lady slalom races.
The Ski School Krakau offers their guests a comprehensive range of ski and snowboard courses as well as rental and service.

- The vertical drop from summit to base is 230 m. The average difference in altitude between base and summit of Ski Resorts in Austria is 727 m. Runs and slopes are therefore relatively short. The ski resort takes you to an elevation of 1,450 m.
- The day pass at Krakau - Alp Tockneralm is €28 making it one of the 10 cheapest ski Resorts in Styria.
- Average snow depth during the season is 42 cm at summit elevation and 33 cm at base elevation. Snow coverage is usually best during February, offering an average snow depth of 47 cm at summit elevation and 36 cm at the base.
