The Ski Resort
Hoodoo Ski Area is located on the summit of the Santiam Pass on Highway 20, only 30 kilometers away from Sisters. No matter if you like smooth, perfectly groomed trails or deep, challenging powder snow you will love Hoodoo. There are 326 hectares of skiable terrain available with 30 alpine trails for all levels of ability. Furthermore, Hoodoo has a 15.8 km Nordic trail system. There a different trails available that are designed for different levels of ability and vary in length.
First-timers can take lessons at the Ski and Ride School. Trained instructors will help you to achieve your individual goals. Besides ski and snowboard lessons for children and adults the Ski and Snowboard School offers Cross-Country and Telemark lessons and Snowbike/Airboard lessons.
However, even if you don´t ski or ride you can have major fun at Hoodoo Ski Area. Hoodoos´ Autobahn Park offers up to 20 chutes for snow tubing. There is no practicing required and individuals of all ages can do it.
