The Ski Resort
The ski area Hohe Bracht - Lennestadt in the Sauerland offers 550 meters of slopes and two lifts for skiing and snowboarding. The red descent of 350 metres and the blue descent of 200 metres are located on the northern slope of the Hohe Bracht mountain (588 metres) below the viewing tower and are being prepared. There is also a floodlight system. The lift is looked after by the local ski club, which also offers courses.
The lifts are open during the week from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on weekends from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. if there is enough snow. Season start and end may vary depending on snow conditions.

In addition to the alpine descents, there are also several cross-country ski runs which, like the ski area, are run by the Lennestadt Ski Club. A total of 3 cross-country trails with different lengths and levels of difficulty are available for cross-country skiers. You can park at the Hohe Bracht lookout tower, where all cross-country trails start.
Getting here
The best way to reach the ski area from the Wuppertal is via the A46. At Wuppertal-Nord you reach the A1, which you leave at exit 87-Hagen-Nord direction Hagen-Hohenlimburg/Iserlohn/DO-Hohensyburg/Hagen-Nord. Turn left onto Dortmunder Straße and drive in the direction of the A46. You drive on the A46 and use the right lane at the motorway junction 42-Kreuz Hagen to get on the A45. Follow the motorway to exit 18-Olpe on B54/B55 in the direction of Olpe/Lennestadt. Continue on the B55 until you reach your destination.
