Three restaurants for a break

For refreshments, you have three options in the Hochficht ski area, two on the mountain, one in the valley. The Hochficht Skiarena offers the most seating at the bottom station of the Reischlbergbahn. Here you'll find a large self-service restaurant and, at the other end, the family-friendly Fichtl Restaurant with a small play area. From there you have a direct view of the Kinderland. On weekends and during vacations, try to avoid the midday rush hour.

Much more rustic is the restaurant "Gasthaus zum Überleben" next to the middle station of the gondola lift. Here you have the choice between a sunny terrace or the cozy guest room with tiled stove.

If you are on the Zwieselberg, you will find the Zwieseltreff (the highest inn in the Mühlviertel) on its summit. The interior is designed with a lot of wood, on the terrace numerous deck chairs invite you to take a break.
