The Ski Resort
Tyin-Filefjell Skisenter is located in the Valdres region of southern Norway, right at the gateway to Jotunheimen National Park on the E 16 highway.
The ski area stretches from 830 to 1,280 metres and offers 17 kilometres of pistes across 14 runs — 8 green, 3 blue, 2 red and 1 black. Five lifts carry guests up the mountain, complemented by a dedicated children's area with its own lift and ski conveyor belt. The maximum vertical drop is 450 metres.
From the top station at 1,280 metres, a striking view unfolds over 35 peaks above 2,000 metres in the Jotunheimen massif. The area is also popular with freeriders and ski tourers — the wild high-mountain landscape offers numerous off-piste options. A terrain park with rails, boxes and jumps caters to freestylers.
