The Ski Resort
In Winter, Evolène - Région offers an incredible panorama and over 100 km of remarkable alpine pistes. You´ll also find great snowshoe walks, and for the more adventurous, try heliskiing accompanied by a mountain guide. In these idyllic surroundings, you can also try the two most beautiful cross-country skiing pistes in the whole of the central Valais.
And if you like ice skating, try it on our natural skating rink. Or why not try climbing one of our numerous frozen waterfalls in the area? And not to mention our weekly events like the torch-lit skiing run, full-moon skiing, or even a first-flight in a helicopter.

- The vertical drop from summit to base is 1,200 m. The average difference in altitude between base and summit of Ski Resorts in Switzerland is 868 m. Most runs are therefore relatively long. The ski resort takes you to an elevation of 2,600 m.
- Average snow depth during the season is 133 cm at summit elevation and 35 cm at base elevation. Snow coverage is usually best during February, offering an average snow depth of 170 cm at summit elevation and 49 cm at the base.
- Evolene features 66 sunny days on average per season. The average for all ski Resorts in Switzerland is 61 sunny days. March is the sunniest month with an average of 17 sunny days.
