The Ski Resort
Eikedalen Skisenter sits at the entrance to the Kvamskogen plateau in western Norway's Vestland county. Nestled at the foot of the Voafjellet and Grøet mountains, it is the largest alpine centre in the area and ranks among the five largest ski resorts in all of western Norway. Eight lifts serve a varied piste network with runs for all ability levels, from wide beginner slopes to steeper pitches that challenge experienced skiers. While skiing, the eye is drawn again and again to the Eikedalsvatnet lake far below — one of the finest backdrops in the region. A terrain park with jumps and rails is part of the offering. Off-piste, the terrain delivers excellent conditions for powder skiing: gentle, playful freeride terrain is accessible directly from the lifts.
