Ski Civetta – great for beginners, families and pleasure skiers!
With its 46 miles (74km) of blue and red runs, which don't require perfect technique by any means, Civetta is practically predestined to become a beginner and family resort. The winter sports area which lies at the foot of the 10,394 foot high (3168m) Monte Pelmo has blue and red trails wide enough to make beginners feel comfortable and 5 ski schools, or ski „kindergartens,“ where small children can learn the ABC's of the winter sport. But beginners and families aren't the only ones who will find something to keep them entertained at Civetta. Twenty-six miles (42km) of broad red runs provide more advanced skiers with a much welcomed carving playground. A further attractive facet is the geographical location of the Civetta resort. Surrounded by the highest massif in the Dolomites, including the Marmolada (10,965ft/3342m) and Sella (10,341ft/3152m) groups, Civetta is an attractive vacation spot for winter athletes who, apart from well-groomed slopes, also appreciate the value of a beautiful landscape.
