The Ski Resort
Whether young or old, beginner or professional, the family ski area Götschen in Bischofswiesen offers skiing fun for everyone. The two T-bar lifts and the Götschenkopf chairlift take winter sports enthusiasts to the slopes. On Fridays, skiers can explore the slopes under bright floodlight from 18:00 to 21:00 hours while skiing at night.
Freestylers can look forward to a great snow park. The park is rebuilt every year and also during the season you can regularly enjoy new rails, jumps and more. With features like the Easy Park Medium or the Pro Kicker Railline it is suitable for all levels of ability and offers freestyle fun for everyone.
Götschen scores with free parking, fair prices and friendly staff. A special focus is also on barrier-free access, which is provided by disabled toilets, an access road to the base station, boarding aids for physically handicapped persons and the flat access to the ski lifts. - The vertical drop from summit to base is 1401 ft. The average difference in altitude between base and summit of Ski Resorts in Germany is 702 ft. Most runs are therefore relatively long. The high point of the ski resort is located at an elevation of 4288 ft.
- Snow coverage is usually best during February, offering an average snow depth of 41 " at summit elevation and 27 " at the base.
