Restaurant & Fine Dining

Culinary delicacies have always been a part of Schloss Rosenegg’s character, which is why we at the Hotel Schloss Rosenegg have also put plenty of room aside for edible pleasures – and our chef de cuisine will surprise you with his originality.

In a place where counts and kings used to hold their banquets, you can now find the stylish Burg Restaurant, with its panelled wooden ceiling and its beautiful bay windows. Here you can start your day with a balanced breakfast from the extensive buffet and a good coffee or tea. Choose from healthy delicacies or hearty meals – depending on how much energy your plans for the day will demand.

In the evenings, you will be served a variety of dishes including specialities of Austrian and international cuisine, spoiling your taste buds. Not to be forgotten are the many Tyrolean specialities – dumplings, gnocchi, polenta, pasta, filled pastry parcels – in every imaginable variety.

In the medieval hall, which today houses the hotel bar, our team will do their best to fulfil your every wish. On gloriously sunny days, we will also be pleased to serve you at the tables in the garden.

A cosy corner awaits you in the fireplace room, where you can let the rustic crackling of the open fire work its magic. Relax in the reading corner or challenge your friends to a round of billiards. With its atmospheric music, this is also the place to end your evening with a glass of wine or a fresh cocktail.

Must-Sees Nearby

The region around the MIRA Hotel Schloss Rosenegg is one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in Tyrol. The spectacular panoramic mountains, the many mountain lakes and the pretty villages are the perfect backdrop for your family holiday.

If you get tired of hiking, cycling or skiing, a visit to the larger towns in the area is another option. Here you can combine a sightseeing tour with a shopping trip.

SALZBURG

The beautiful Baroque old town was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. The Hohensalzburg Castle is the largest completely preserved castle in central Europe, Mozart’s birthplace can be found at no.9, Getreidegasse, and Hellbrunn Palace is one of the most beautiful examples of mannerist architecture north of the Alps.

Not to be missed are also the many Baroque churches or the Mirabellgarten. One of the highlights of the year has got to be the Salzburg Festival in July. You can expect opera, plays and concerts at their finest.

INNSBRUCK

Innsbruck is the capital of the state of Tyrol, and an internationally renowned winter sports destination, where the Winter Olympics were held in 1964 and 1976, as well as the Winter Youth Olympics in 2012.

The city, which was founded in the early Middle Ages, was named the capital of the county of Tyrol by Emperor Maximilian I, and was decorated with numerous impressive structures. In the old town, you’ll find the world-famous Golden Roof, the Cathedral of St. James, the Helblinghaus, and the Hofburg with the Hofkirche, in which larger-than-life bronze statues surround the tomb of Emperor Maximilian I.

Many tourists also come because of established events like the Bergiselspringen, part of the Four Hills Tournament, the Summer Dance Festival, the Festival of Early Music and the Ambras Castle concerts. The Christmas market and New Year’s Eve in the mountains are also very popular.

KITZBÜHEL

Kitzbühel is, above all, known for its famous Hahnenkamm race, a spectacular World Cup skiing race which attracts 80,000 to 100,000 visitors annually. The small town – just a stone’s throw from Fieberbrunn – is also home to a beautiful and well-preserved medieval town centre with the high Gothic Katharinenkirche, and a number of boutique shops. This is where international jet-setters come to meet, especially in winter.

Many successful major sporting events also contribute to Kitzbühel’s reputation in the summer. These include, in particular, the Austrian Open Kitzbühel (ATP men’s tennis tournament), the World Cup triathlons at the Schwarzsee lake, and the world’s largest Snow Polo tournament.

KUFSTEIN

The most important landmark is, without a doubt, the Kufstein Fortress on the 90 metre-high hill in the centre of the town, which was first recorded in the 13th century. On the fortress is the world’s largest open-air organ, which can be heard across the town, and a local heritage museum.

The old town (containing streets such as Römerhofgasse, Kirchgasse, Unterer Stadtplatz and Innpromenade) and the town hall with the Tyrolean coat of arms, or the St. Vitus Church and the Wasserbastei, a part of the medieval wall, are worth a visit.

MUNICH

Munich is the capital of Bavaria, and with around 1.35 million inhabitants, the third-largest city in Germany. The unmistakeable landmarks of the city are the twin towers of the Gothic Frauenkirche, the Marienplatz with the city hall and the world-famous bell tower, which is the heart of the city.

The city’s famous museums are the German Museum, the art gallery or the spectacular BMW World. In the Olympiapark, which was built for the Olympic Games in 1972, you can choose between sport, concerts or relaxation. Beer-lovers come to visit the original Hofbräuhaus or go to one of the beer gardens in the Englischer Garten or on the Viktualienmarkt.

If you really want to party, come in September for Oktoberfest or go to an FC Bayern match in the Allianz Arena.

A detour to this beautiful city is really worthwhile! Here in Fieberbrunn, you are just 1.5 hours away from Munich!
