The Cross-Country Area

In Val d'Isère there are 20 kilometres of groomed trails for all levels. The individual trails "La Daille", "Manchet" and "Laisinant" can be reached by free bus. The L'ouillette trail can only be started by chairlift or gondola. The trails are prepared for both the classic technique and skating.

Elevated between 1,845 m and 2,520 m, the Cross-Country Skiing Area is the highest elevated Cross-Country Skiing Areas in France.
Snow coverage is usually best during March, offering an average snow depth of 284 cm at summit elevation and 145 cm at the base. This makes Val d Isere the cross-Country skiing area with the best snow conditions in France.
