The Cross-Country Area

The cross-country skiing area at Mt. Buffalo offers three prepared trails. Most of the runs are easy to master, even for beginners.

The Horn Road is a 2,5 km long track that leads you to the summit of Mount Buffalo. The circuit Bogong winds through the snow-covered winter landscape about one kilometre east of the car park. The beginner round along the old access road in the Cresta valley is with a length of only 500 meters perfectly suitable for the first tests on cross-country skis. 

The ski school offers 90-minute cross-country skiing courses or 3-hour courses / tours in Mount Buffalo National Park by prior arrangement.
