Thanks to its location at an altitude of 1,377 to 2,000 metres above sea level, cross-country skiing in Galtür is a special treat. The perfectly groomed trails, which are part of the Paznaun cross-country skiing arena, lead through a dreamlike winter wonderland. There are 80 kilometres to explore around Ischgl and Galtür. Different levels of difficulty ensure that both amateur athletes and top athletes will find suitable trails for themselves.

- Elevated between 1,600 m and 2,036 m, the Cross-Country Skiing Area is among the 15 highest elevated Cross-Country Skiing Areas in Austria.
- Snow coverage is usually best during January, offering an average snow depth of 65 cm at summit elevation and 25 cm at the base. Therefore Galtür is among the 15 cross-Country Skiing Areas with best snow conditions in Austria.
