“Born in Chamonix Mont-Blanc Valley” is the slogan printed on every ski produced by the Sallanches-based French company Dynastar. Dynastar has been producing top-notch skis in over 50 production steps at its site in the Chamonix Valley since 1963. The company attempts to reconcile tradition with modernity in its approach. High-tech materials and machines are combined with a traditional wood core and multiple production steps are still carried out by hand. The company makes ski models for all users and requirements: Men’s, women’s, children’s, all-mountain, freeride, freestyle and carving skis. In 1994, Tommy Moe won the Olympic Downhill race on Dynastar skis while Julien Lizeroux also celebrated success in World Cup races and World Championships on the brand’s skis.
