Ski Review 2023/2024: Touring Skis Men 2 – 90 to 97 mm

If you want to explore the open terrain away from the groomed slopes, you need the important avalanche equipment as well as the right material under your feet. This is where the skis in the category "Touring Men 2" come into play. With medium widths of 90 to 97 millimetres, they offer the ideal balance between buoyancy in powder snow and lightness for the ascent. Here are the test results from the WorldSkitest 2023/2024.

For adventures in alpine terrain

The touring models in this category provide the necessary buoyancy in deep snow and ensure optimum power transmission. Despite their width, they are characterized by a relatively low weight, which saves energy reserves on the ascent. This makes them an ideal partner for demanding ski tours in alpine terrain.

The WorldSkitest for touring skis took place at the end of March 2023 at the Falkert in Carinthia. Both the skiing characteristics and the handling of the climbing skins were evaluated. This year's test results prove how high the quality of all models is. There were two winners and some of the skis in the rest of the field also shared their place with competitors with equal points.

Target group: deep snow fanatics and freeriders among ski tourers
