Ski Review 2023/2024: Men Allround

You want to enjoy your skiing day from morning to night and have fun on the slopes, without pushing yourself to the limit? Then you've come to the right place. The ski models in the allround category have enough power for spirited descents, but are easy on your strength and can forgive the occasional mistake. Here you can find out how the men's allround models from the best-known manufacturers performed in this year's WorldSkitest.

With these agile, forgiving and effort-saving ski models, it's not about setting top times. Experienced skiers who simply want to spend a relaxed day skiing without exerting too much effort are just as right in this category as returning skiers and (depending on the model) sporty beginners. Those who focus on aggressive turns and highly athletic descents, on the other hand, are better off taking a look in the high-performance or race category.

Nevertheless, the Allround skis should not be underestimated. After all, the test results show how high the quality is even in the mid-range models. In almost spring-like conditions, the models were able to prove in the 2023/2024 WorldSkitest how they can handle changeable piste conditions. No less than three models achieved the grade "excellent".

With 41.3 points and the test grade "excellent", the Atomic Redster Q6 jumps from 3rd place last year to the top of the Men Allround category. The testers agreed: This ski has everything you expect from an all-rounder. Smooth-running, energy-saving and yet nippy, it showed a confident performance in both long and short turns.

Atomic's Redster Q series combines the Redster's race technologies with a wider ski waist, offering more versatility for different piste conditions. The Redster Q 6 impressively demonstrated this in the changeable snow conditions at the WorldSkitest.

The Salomon S/Max 10was also able to convince the testers. With excellent ratings in all test categories, it proved to be an enormously balanced ski that gives its rider stability and security without unnecessarily straining his power reserves. A total of 40.6 points earns the Salomon the test grade "excellent".

Just behind, also with the grade "excellent", the Rossingol Forza 60° V Ticompletes the podium in the Men's Allround category. Thanks to its smooth running, long turns are particularly fun with it. The ski is part of Rossignol's new Forza carving series, which is characterized by its specific angulation.

For its design, the Forza 60° V Ti also receives the Men Allround Gold Medal in SnowStyle.
