Ski Review 2023/2024: All Mountain Skis

If you value variety and want to be prepared for any terrain, the All Mountain Ski category is the right choice. These all-rounders are agile enough for the slopes, but also offer buoyancy and stability in deeper snow. Thus, they work in a wide variety of snow conditions. The 2023/2024 WorldSkitest tested all-mountain models from the best-known ski brands. Here you can find out which skis were able to convince the testers.

The skis for all occasions

All mountain skis are characterized by their versatility. They offer a perfect balance between stability and maneuverability and can thus handle a variety of piste and snow conditions.

With center widths between 80 and 86 millimeters, the tested models are primarily made for the piste. Their slightly wider waist and shovel, however, make them an ideal partner for the odd detour into the backcountry, in unprepared snow at the edge of the piste, for rutted slopes in the afternoon or simply for the softer snow in spring.

In this respect, the test conditions at the WorldSkitest 2023* in Wisla at the end of March were just made for this category. This is also reflected in the excellent results of the tested models.

Nevertheless, for genuine powder and off-piste adventures you should rather turn to the freeride models.

Target group: sporty to highly athletic slope & terrain fans (women & men).
