But there’s no need for gates. Put this ski to the test on any groomed trail, hammer the front of the boot, and watch one turn flow into the next. You can credit much of this ski’s performance to the Carbon C-Spine, a compound construction that blends two sheets of carbon with poplar and ash laminates. This means ultimate stability from the carbon and forgiveness from the wood. Meanwhile, carbon armor dampens every turn to prevent chatter at high speeds. Last but not least, what sets this ski apart from its similar HRC counterparts is the Race Plate—inspired by our World Cup athletes to bring extra stability, power, and leverage through every turn. TRUEBLEND RACE WOODCORE
The Trueblend Race Woodcore is designed with a harder flex zone in the center, that provides stability and edge grip, a medium flex zone in front of and behind the binding that provides control, and a soft flex zone in the tip and tail that provides easy turn initiation and release.
DURAMAX
The top titanal layer is extended to the very edge of the ski and placed directly under the top foil which is then milled back 3 mm, thus exposing it.
