Canadian El Dorado for Ski Newbies and Families

"Play your way" - the slogan of Silver Star ski resort in British Columbia, Canada, couldn't be any better or any more to the point. Its abundance of runs suiting all levels lets every skier's heart beat faster, offering winter sports enthusiasts all the possibilities they could possibly wish for. Everyone here plays it their way.

There is a great learning area for beginners and every slope offers an easy descent down the mountain. Silver Star offers a dense network of black runs and double diamond runs guaranteeing endless fun on the slopes for skiers which are more on the experienced side. For all those who prefer airtime to groomed runs, there is a terrain park to explore. Lovers of freeride skiing should head to the ski resort’s Back Side.

Silver Star's wide range of slopes is topped of with a handful of mountain huts and some (quiet) après-ski hot spots. Moreover, it offers numerous bars, restaurants, and lounges to spend the evening with family and friends. Anyways, Silver Star boasts great slope fun, numerous ski-in/ski-out hotels and makes for a worthwile and relaxing experience.
