One of the best ski areas in Tyrol with guaranteed snow until spring!

The ski area Obergurgl/Hochgurgl is one of the most snow-sure and probably also one of the best ski areas in Tyrol. Skiers of all levels will get their money's worth here. Even the very young are well looked after thanks to the local ski schools and the children's park. The slopes are often very wide and optimally groomed, inviting you to enjoy carving.

The numerous rustic huts and umbrella bars will also satisfy après-skiers very much. The ski area is especially suited for advanced and expert skiers. The latter will be thrilled due to the varied slopes of every degree of difficulty and the size of the ski area. Due to the complete northern location of the ski area, the possibility of snowmaking and the altitude, you will be able to have fun here from the end of November until well into April. The ski resort is also popular with freeriders.

    Festkogel Alm outside bar
I came across the rudest bar server I have ever met. She ignored me, deliberately served others who came in after me and then pretended not to be able to hear what I was saying and then rounded it ... Read complete review

    Nice manageable ski resort
Perfect ski resort with beautiful and well prepared slopes.Disadvantage is the pricing of the ski pass.Senior discount is only available at 80 plus,This is simply ridiculous.I have never experienced this before. Therefore, only two and a half stars.

    Every year new
Great ski Resort, always live on the Obergurgl side... For years regularly to the opening in November there. Empty pistes, all excellent!Especially recommended is the high courage ALM, not a 0815 mountain restaurant. Great service, class food at a fair price on fabulous terrace!

Obergurgl is a great and beautiful ski area
One of the best ski areas in Austria. It's still a little, unknown pearl; there are not many tourists and there is a lot of great space in the ski area. It's a calm and friendly area and resort, bu... Read complete review

    Obergurgl flop, Hochgurgl top
In Obergurgl the slopes were little or not prepared (probably due to a defective track caterpillar). The pistes were very poorly signposted: cluttered, missing signs, missing slope separations.Wi... Read complete review
