The Cross-Country Area
Ruka is located in Northern Finland in the Kuusamo region. Kuusamo offers a total length of 170 km of cross-country ski trails, of which 33,5 km are illuminated. All ski tracks are suitable for both Nordic and Skating style.
Interesting facts
- Snow coverage is usually best during April, offering an average snow depth of 78 cm at summit elevation and 34 cm at the base.
