Val di Fassa is a real paradise for the cross-country skiing with more than 50 km of slopes and ring of all grades of difficulty and length.
Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, wonderful slopes and rings await all the lovers of this winter sport!

A lot of cross-country tracks and rings intersect the entire valley along the track of the popular Marcialonga that is certainly one of the most classic course in the world with a track that covers 70 km from Moena to Cavalese.

Every village along the prestigious Marcialonga route has provided cross-country tracks or circuits, even using programmed snow facilities, which make the complete package extremely attractive to the enthusiasts of this sport; they can also find well-qualified instructors to learn the technique.

The Ciancoal cross country circuit in Pozza di Fassa particularly enjoyable on account of its continual changes of rhythm, while a track in Fontanazzo is floodlit in the evening: so that you can train and yet still relax in the silence of the darkness!

Sourrounded by the imposing peaks of the Dolomites some fabulous cross-country slopes at higher altitude provide guaranteed skiing conditions till the end of the winter season.

On Passo S. Pellegrino, in fact (1800 mt), the wonderful Alochet Cross Country Centre offers 4 rings of all grades of difficulties. The ski trails are constantly groomed and the tracks are closed when conditions are not up to the promised standard.

The Most Beautiful Tracks

The various cross country tracks offer unique landscapes with breathtaking views. Moreover, on the occasion of the Marcialonga (one of the most important cross-country competitions worldwide), taking place on the last Sunday of January, the complete track can be done: from Canazei to Cavalese, along the river, from Val di Fassa to Val di Fiemme.

Also the Alochet track is wonderful: located close to San Pellegrino (Moena), here skiers can go through the forest and the highland doing their favourite sport.
