Sellaronda Skimarathon, the famous international touring ski competition, has come to its 15th edition. It’s a touring ski competition by night for extreme skiers, also valid for the “Coppa delle Dolomiti”.
The competition is open to 2-people teams. Each team must be equipped with: two pairs of touring skis and a front light. The race will take the skiers on the ski slopes at night, through a wonderful area passing by the villages of Canazei, Selva, Corvara and Arabba, where every year in turn the start and the arrival of the competition will take place.
The skiers have to overcome a total of 42 kilometres overcoming at the 4 passes of the Dolomites, Sella, Gardena, Campolongo and Pordoi, (total height difference 2700 m.). An exciting and enduring race, just for very qualified and trained skiers who have to be prepared even to face very unsecured tracks and changing weather conditions. It can really be considered a truly unique touring ski competition in the world!
