Marlies Schild didn´t only win the fifth World Cup victory of the winter but also won the little crystal globe with altogether 640 points ahead of Nicole Hosp who reached 515 points in this discipline. In 1:52,78 minutes the 26 years old set the minimum time ahead of Veronika Zuzulova and Sarka Zahrobska. Nicole Hosp became forth.

There she made it from position 25 to eleven and scored enough points to become unbeatable for her competitors concerning the overall World Cup. Maria Riesch who raked behind her friend inthis standings so far, didn´t see the finish and so she had to let Nicole Hosp pass by.
