Bode Miller takes downhill in Kvitfjell

Once again Bode Miller skied in a class of its own on Saturday´s downhill in Kvitfjell (NOR). The US-American was 0,40 seconds ahead of Didier Cuche (SUI) and won yet another World Cup race. Werner Heel came in as third and had another great result after his sensational win on Friday.

Miller on the way to the Overall World Cup
Miller had a great run on Saturday and showed again his brilliant skiing. In the top part he was way ahead of the field and also in the lower part he found a good line. With the win Miller moved within five points of Cuche in the downhill World Cup and still has the chance to get another crystal globe. Miller also came a step closer of winning the Overall World Cup as his biggest rival, Benjamin Raich, missed a gate and didn´t get any points.

Heel with another solid performance
In a race, which was delayed for 30 minutes due to snowfall during the night Werner Heel made another strong impression and was leading for a good portion of the race. Klaus Kroell also had a great run and was fourth in the end. The best Canadian on Saturday was Manuel Osborne-Paradis who came in fifth.
