Val d´Allos 1500 – Le Seignus knows how to impress snow sports lovers with its 24 slopes and great offers for families.
First, one needs to catch the cable car from the village Allos to get to the lifts. The easy slopes are located in the lower segments of the ski area and lead through a forest, whereas the upper parts of the skiing area are steeper downhill runs and thus rather suitable for advanced skiers.
Here, it´s a highlight to ski on a particular slope, which will make both snowboarders and skiers trespass 1,000 m (1,093 yd) difference in altitude including a view on the national park Mercantour.
This skiing area is a part of Espace Lumière. It offers 180 km (112 mi) of slopes in total, which make it the largest coherent skiing area in the French Alps.
