The Ski Resort
The small ski area Saint Jean de Sixt is an ideal place to all who are new to the world of skiing and snowboarding. There are five ski-runs, four blue and a red designated one as well as two lifts. A skiing school on-site is also of great help in the beginning. The ski area is located in the middle of the village so that it is easily reachable.
If you already feel you can move on to another level, then you can get from here to larger ski resorts such as Le Grand Bornand and La Clusaz/ Manigod, where you may expect 220 km (137 mi) of ski trails. To get there take the ski bus which operates each half an hour and commutes between the two areas.
