The Ski Resort
Los Penitentes is a ski resort in the province of Mendoza, 25 kilometers from the border between Argentina and Chile and 170 kilometers from the city of Mendoza. At the moment, the resort has over 25 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes for skiing and snowboarding. In the opposite direction to the German and Austrian ski resorts, skiing is possible here from June/July to September. When it's summer in Europe, you can explore the variously long slopes in Penitentes for beginners, advanced skiers and professionals.

Infrastructure & Rental
From Mendoza it takes a little more than two hours by car to the ski area Penitentes. From the center of Mendoza, follow route no. 40 for about 23 kilometers and take the driveway in the direction of Uspallata / Las cuevas / Santiago de Chile. Now you follow route no. 7 for 93 kilometers. At Uspallata, turn left to stay on Route 7 and follow it for another 63 kilometers until Los Penitentes.
