Mt Aurora Skiland Ski Area

Mt Aurora is a lovely little ski area located about 30 km north of Fairbanks, Alaska. It offers a terrain of 40 hectares with beginner and intermediate as well as expert trails so everyone can have a fun time here. The trails are serviced by 2 surface lifts and one Double Chair lift which is the farthest north chair lift in America. You can get all equipment needed at the Rental Shop. Yet, the most exciting thing besides skiing is the outstanding view from the Day Lodge. It is already great during the day. However, it only gets exceptional at night. You´ll get a 270 degree view of the aurora borealis. Scientists from all overt he world come here to study this phenomenom. Watching the aurora will certainly make your holiday a special one that you will never forget!
