Beginners are challenged!
In Dorfgastein as well as in Großarl beginners areas are situated right by the base stations. Further convenient novice spots are the “Rauchleitenlift” and the “Fischbacher” lift which give access to gentle terrain. Another practice slope is available at the Kreuzhöhe. The first impression for novices is that the 19 kilometres of easy slopes will perfectly suit them. However some trails are more challenging as one might think at first view. The nicest easy slopes are the family runs (number 7 and 3) leading to Dorfgastein or Grossarl.
