The Ski Resort
At the foot of Mont Blanc lies the romantic village of Cordon with the ski area of the same name. Skiers and snowboarders of all ages will find 11 kilometres of pistes of varying degrees of difficulty. The region has five red, three blue and two green marked pistes, which are ideal for families and beginners. Beginners feel particularly at home around the "Fil neige des Lutins" rope lift and those interested can learn their first steps on the boards at the local ski school. For snowboarders and freestylers there is a mini snow park at the Fieux drag lift.
A total of six T-bar lifts carry the winter sports enthusiasts up to the 1,600-metre Tête du Planet and 19 snow cannons ensure optimal skiing conditions throughout the winter. During a break in one of the five huts, you can enjoy the magnificent view of the surrounding snow-covered peaks of the French Alps. Whether local cheese specialities or regional French cuisine - there is something for every palate.
