The hotel, in Alpine country house style, is a blend of rustic craftsmanship in the old wing, simple cherrywood in the new. It’s perfectly placed for the lifts, and when you return there’s soup and cakes waiting. The new spa features a steam bath with the scent of mountain pine needles, bio-sauna, infra-red treatment room, gym and massage. Dinner is a four-course affair with a weekly speciality night and fondue. Children are welcome, with up to a 75 per cent discount if they share a room with their parents.
